Sponge Cake with Gluten-free Walnut Cream

A delicious sponge cake filled with walnut cream for those with a sweet tooth. It’s made from maize flour so it’s suitable for celiacs.


  • 3 eggs
  • 1 yoghurt
  • 3 glasses of sugar
  • 3 glasses of maize flour
  • 1 glass of sunflower oil
  • Grated lemon / orange peel
  • Amandín Organic Walnut Cream – GLUTEN-FREE
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda


Step 1

Beat the eggs with the sugar and the yoghurt.

Step 2

After mixing, add the baking soda and the oil, and finally the maize flour. Beat thoroughly and leave to stand for a while.

Step 3

Pour the mixture into a tin prepared beforehand with butter and maize flour and bake for 30 minutes at 180º.

Step 4

When it’s cooled, cut in half and fill with the GLUTEN-FREE Amandín Organic Walnut Cream.
