Defences broth (candidiasis, immunity)

Have this broth in these cases:

  • Candidiasis
  • To strengthen the immune system
  • When convalescing after an illness
  • To nourish the intestinal mucosa when it is “compromised” (permeability, irritability in the mucosa, etc.)

When to have it:

Lunch and/or dinner


  • 1 onion
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 piece of ginger root
  • 1 cup of kale leaves
  • 1 cup of chopped vegetables (carrots, turnips, celery, leek, etc.)
  • ½ cup of dried shiitake mushrooms
  • 30 g of wakame seaweed
  • 1 spoonful of peppercorns
  • 2 spoonfuls of ground turmeric
  • 3 spoonfuls of tamari
  • 4 cloves of black garlic


Step 1

Put all the ingredients in a pan (except the black garlic and the tamari) and cover with 3 litres of water.

Step 2

Bring it to the boil, then turn down the heat and leave it to simmer for an hour.

Step 3

Strain it and add the finely-chopped black garlic and the tamari.
