- 1 roll of fresh puff pastry
- Organic Almond Cream
- Brown sugar
- Chocolate sprinkles
- 1 egg
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Unroll the puff pastry. using a knife or a spatula, spread the whole surface of the puff pastry with the Organic Almond Cream. Sprinkle with a little brown sugar and sprinkle chocolate all over it. Roll up the puff pastry again and cut the roll into 4-5cm pieces. You should get 6-7 pieces or “bollitos”.
Put the “bollitos” on a baking sheet covered in baking paper. Rest them on one another so that they look like a kind of spiral.
Beat the egg and brush it onto the surface of each of the pieces, on top and on the sides.
Bake the pastry pieces in a hot oven for about 25 minutes or until they are golden.
Leave to cool completely before serving.
This recipe can also be prepared using other Amandín creams, such as hazelnut or hazelnut with cocoa. You could also try sprinkling the surface of the puff pastry (before rolling it up) with crushed nuts or ground cinnamon.
